Soft The anatomical and comfortable buckle made of soft and thermoformed material, placed on the top of the foot, increases comfort and performance. It distributes pressure evenly over the instep and is adjustable from both sides, allowing correct centering without the need for an instep extender. The Soft Instep 4 system is interchangeable.

The runs the full length of the shoe, allowing for an optimal fit as the upper is evenly molded to the foot. Sidi’s reliable closure system allows for quick and easy adjustment, thanks to the cable material. A small button on the twist lock allows the system to be lifted, making it easier to adjust while riding.

The microfiber synthetic leather, made in Italy, is an innovative high-tech upper with OEKO-TEX® certification. It offers durability, breathability and water resistance at the highest level with low weight.

The keeps the foot in its optimal position and prevents the shoe from being deformed by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.

All ROAD shoes by SIDI come with a replaceable plastic heel piece in the heel area.

Sidi Vent Carbon Sole

The main advantages of the Vent Carbon sole are not only a strong power transmission or its lightness and stiffness, but also an excellent comfort at higher temperatures. This is because, as the name of the sole suggests, the Vent Carbon sole can be ventilated depending on the weather conditions. In triathlon, the vent also serves as a drainage system.

The Vent Carbon sole is equipped with integrated channels that provide heat dissipation and ventilation. The vent leads to two channels in the carbon sole that direct air to perforations in the forefoot (the Sidi Comfort-Fit insole has matching perforations so airflow is not impeded). The slider at the front of the sole can be moved back and forth. When the slider is in the front area the ventilation is open, in the rear area it is closed. In this way, the ventilation of the feet can be regulated according to individual needs.

The Vent Carbon sole is handcrafted exclusively from carbon fibers with the goal of maximizing stiffness while providing a low controlled degree of flex in the toe area. This carefully designed flex biomechanically relieves stress on the tendons of the foot and helps promote circulation.

The Vent Carbon sole features a standard 3-hole bore, and an alignment scale that allows for 10mm of forward and rearward adjustment. To improve walkability, the Vent Carbon sole has replaceable polyurethane heel and toe heels.
